19th C. Cased High Speed Anemometer by F. Robson Newcastle
This is a very nice cased wind meter instrument by R. Robson Newcastle.
The high speed anemometer has a silvered dial and blued fingers and a brass/blackened housing.
The dial divided with four dials (air meter to 100.000 feet - hundreds - thousands - ten thousands)
The anemometer stands on three brass pillars and a brass blackened base.
The wind propellor is housed in an blackened brass frame to the righthand side of the anemometer.
The anemometer is housed in a beautiful made mahogany box with brass furnishings and within the lid a
correction sheet.
The anemometer is in perfect working order.
