Description

An exquisite desktop accessory in the form of a six-division letter rack. The backing board has an undulating top edge with attractive scrolls to each end. Similarly, the divisions also have beautifully fashioned wavy outlines. A really stunning example - the best we've seen in many years. This rack would grace a desk in a busy office, or it could be displayed at home as a work of art on a side table. It is English, made in solid mahogany, and it dates from c.1860s.
