Description

A substantial ebonised and brass monocular microscope, model no. 58533, by Spencer, Buffalo, USA, circa. 1920-1925. The microscope is housed in its original fitted wooden case with a working lock and key. The microscope has a retailer's label for 'Belcher & Mason Ltd, Birmingham, England'.

All lenses are intact and the microscope is in working order.

The microscope comes with a selection of four additional Spencer lenses, however one of the lenses has been historically placed in too tall a hole and is stuck fast in the case (far rear left lens in photograph).
