We date this carboy to the early 20th century
A lovely glass wine bottle cushioned with straw in its original iron basket.
The overall height is 27'' (68cm).
The basket diameter is 21'' (54cm) and is 22.5'' (57cm) high.
This lovely carboy remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The iron basket has a bit of rust and is showing a bit of wear, this is primarily to the base.
This remains a very stylish and elegant carboy. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
