Description

An 18thC oak and elm French farmhouse table. Seats a very generous six persons with good leg room (58cm). Fabulous rich patina to the four plank top. Oak base with substantial raised stretchers and a large heavy central drawer. The drawer has its original large iron ring pull. The top has old repairs and evidence of woodworm which would be quite usual for a table of this age (all treated as a precaution). The colour of this substantial solid table is wonderful. Old peg joints all tight. The end overhang of the top allows chairs to sit under it in the right manner.
