19th Century French Tapestry Four Panel Room Divider

Description

A 19th century French tapestry four panel room divider of large proportions depicting trees, foliage and a river with a distant mountainous landscape and chateau. The tapestry colours have faded throughout as is usual however some small pieces of colour remain, most notably to the flowers.

The screen shows wear commensurate with age, particularly to the extremities where some fraying is apparent, but nonetheless the divider remains an attractive piece with no losses to the tapestry itself. All panels open and close with ease and the screen fully folds down to the width of one panel if needed.

Width (fully extended): 244cm

Depth: 2.5cm

We are able to deliver to most of mainland UK for £50 (excluding the Scottish Highlands). We are also able to deliver internationally; please do contact us with your location for an accurate delivery quote.

We aim to deliver your piece within 7-10 working days, however please allow up to 3 weeks following cleared payment for delivery.

Collection in person is welcome by prior arrangement.
