Good mahogany tray stand, circa 1835
Made by the quality London cabinet makers Wilkinson & Sons 1776 - 1909
Stamped mark to the back W&C Wilkinson Ludgate Hill, of the period 1833-55
In very good sound condition with the original patinated surface
General ware from use, restored veneer to front right corner.
Height 11,1/2'' or 292mm, weight 2209 grams.
These stands are excellent to display silver or plated trays and salvers,
pewter or brass chargers,
papier-mâché and tole trays
ceramic chargers and platters etc.
Should suite pieces up to 16'' or 400mm diameter depending on weight and shape
Shown with a 13,1/4'' diameter plate
