This stylish wine storage rack has a capacity of 60 bottles, meaning that five cases can be stored in a single ingenious space-saving way. It was formerly used as a champagne remuage rack for the fermentation process in the production of champagne. Rather than bent metal fixing brackets, this rack has robust blocks of solid oak hidden discretely behind, and is fixed with solid steel brassed plates already installed and ready to be fixed to the wall. It is of real age, dating from c1890s or older, and has acquired a lived-in look of immense character and charm.
