1890 Silver Handle Brigg Walking Stick Hallmarked Victorian Bamboo

Description

Bamboo walking stick, the silver handle retailer marked BRIGG, hallmarked London 1890, makers mark T.J for Thomas Johnson II, Spencer Street, Clerkenwell , London.

The handle ends inscribed with the owners monogram, 28 October 1890

Swirling reeded and fluted design of the handle still looks striking even with the spread of light dents from use.

In good sound condition, no splits or holes, with the original brass and iron ferrule.

Length 30,1/2" or 775mm, weight 163 grams.
