This lovely planter is French and dates from the later half of the 19thC.
It has marquetry inlay and ormolou mounts and it’s original tole liner. There has been some restoration to one of the legs which can be seen in the photographs and some of the metal beading has been pinned back as can also be seen in the photographs. Otherwise it is in very good condition and is a highley decorative and functional piece.
