Seventeenth century English gentleman''s walking cane, circa 1690.
 
Classic turned ivory handle with inlaid brass pique work decoration.
 
Original malacca shaft, later petal edged silver collar and long brass ferule.
 
Visible length of handle 3,3/4'' or 95mm.
 
Length 34,1/4'' or 870mm, weight 355 grams.
 
All in good sound condition, the handle with wear and losses from years of constant handling.
