Seventeenth century gentleman''s walking cane.
 
Substantial turned ivory handled malacca walking stick, the petal edged collar engraved Peter Pilote 1698.
 
The shaft a natural shaped section stick of malacca wood, heavy copper worn ferule.
 
All original, in good condition, timely splits and surface wear to the ivory, still good and sound.
 
Visible length of handle 3,3/4'' or 95mm.
 
Length 34'' or 860mm, weight 312 grams.
