European carved ivory paper knife / page turner, probably French, Dieppe, circa 1880

The finely carved handle of fruit and flowers between stylised leaves, the 'bolster' carved as a wicker basket.

In very good sound condition with only insignificant chip to the blade edge and slight warp.

Length 10,3/4" or 274mm, weight 58 grams.
