We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Royal Vienna porcelain refers to wares produced by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in Vienna, established in the 18th century, known for neoclassical forms, hand-painted classical scenes, and rich gilding.

These pieces are crafted from hard-paste porcelain, finished with hand-applied enamel colours, intricate raised gilding, and typically fitted with metal hinges and lids made of brass or bronze.

Authentic items frequently feature the blue beehive mark (or shield mark) under the glaze, alongside impressed numbers indicating the year of production or modeller codes, paired with meticulous hand-painted details.

Display the vessel within a glass-fronted cabinet, on a mantelpiece, or upon a bookshelf as a focal point to introduce classical texture, metallic accents, and historical depth to a room.

Keep the piece out of direct sunlight to prevent fading of the hand-painted enamels, dust gently with a soft dry brush, and avoid washing in water to protect the delicate gilding and metal mounts.
