Antique Carved Black Forest Wooden St Bernard Dog

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine antique 'Black Forest' wooden carving of a St Bernard rescue dog. The dog is carrying a blanket across his back and has a brandy barrel around his neck. It stands on a depiction of a carved rock outcrop. The wood is a lovely golden brown hue.

 

Condition: In great antique condition.

 

Measurements:

 

Height: 9 cm Width: 8.4 cm Depth: 3.4 cm
