English pottery saltglaze stoneware novelty spirit flask, circa 1830
In the shape of a fish, probably a carp, exceptional moulded details and colour.
Held in his toothy mouth is the fluted spout.
One old tail end flake otherwise in excellent bright sound condition with no damage or repair.
A large fine example with a bespoke pine display stand.
Length 11,1/4'' or 31cm, weight 555 grams.
