Mid Eighteenth Century Single Draw Telescope

Description

For sale, a mid Eighteenth century single draw telescope of unusally small size.

The telescope measures 34 cms and 57.5 cms extended and has a 3.5cm diameter barrel with a half inch objective lens.

It has a typical eighteenth century bulbous type eyepiece and three part draw tube with dust slides to both the eyepiece and the objective.

Sadly unmarked so there is little to say about the maker but a rather unusal size and a nice early example of its type.
