Description

A very high quality example of a hat and coat rack, in turned beech, for wall mounting or hanging on the back of a door. It demonstrates the supreme art of the turner; every component is fashioned from turned sections with four coat pegs and two hat pegs. All of these pegs fold flat when not in use or to facilitate easy transport. It retains its original brass fixings to enable the rack to be secured to the wall. English, c.1900/c.1920.
