Attractive 19th Century gilt bronze ormolu French Empire style easel desk frame. Decorated with classically inspired torcheres or cornucopia filled with fruit, stylised acanthus leaves and surmounted by a lovely pair of winged griffins. Original back panel, strut and silk. Napoleon III period. France, circa 1870.
