Pair Of 19th Century Glass Domes With Ebonised Bases
Status:This item has been sold Sold by:Culvertons
The shape of these glass domes are particularly appealing. Flat sided glass domes such as these are not reproduced today and are rarer than their round or domed counterparts. This 19th Century pair are set upon their original sensitively restored ebonised bases, and still have their paper trim around the bottom of each glass dome.
Inside measurements for the dome''s - 17.5 cm wide x 15.5 deep x 35.5 high
Due to the fragility of the glass these domes will have to either be collected from our shop in Dorking or alternatively delivered by our trusted courier.
Whenever possible Culvertons undertake the carriage of items within London and the home counties. Professional, competitive and trusted couriers and shipping companies are engaged for deliveries for the remainder of our customers. Smaller items, when instructed, will be carefully parcelled and securely sent by the carrier.
We strive to accurately describe and illustrate our stock on the 'Selling Antiques' website. Howev...er, we understand that it is not always possible to judge from photographs how an item will look in the home or garden. For this reason, if notified within seven days from the date of delivery we offer a full refund (less any agreed carriage costs) once the item has been returned in the same condition as it left our premises.
