Georgian Scottish Horn & Silver Snuff Mull

Description

FINE late Georgian silver mounted horn snuff mull is good condition. The horn is a nice colour and it is a nuce shape. The base part has a silver band to the top with the name JOHN MURRAY 1837 lightly engraved in scroll script. The top lid is sliver mounted with a thistle type decoration and a plain round disk. As is pretty normal the silver isn't hallmarked. The mull is in good clean condition with a good hinge, the lid has it's original cork.
