Early C20th Oak Easel

1900 - 1920
Description

An oak easel, dating from the early part of the 20th century, comprised of two simple uprights with their original adjustable–height pegs. The angle of display can also be adjusted by shortening or lengthening the chain where it's attached to the rear support leg. This display easel can also be used as an artist's easel. It retains its original untouched finish with a rich colour and a glowing patination. When folded up for storage, it is less than 6.5cms thick. English, c.1900's — c.1920's.
