This well-modelled and finely-decorated PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURES of a SCOTTISH COUPLE date from circa 1860.The LADY, wearing a PLAID SKIRT, COBALT BLUE blouse and jaunty FEATHERED HAT, is standing with a SHEEP and LAMB at her feet.The GENTLEMAN, in COBALT BLUE frock coat, PLAID SASH and SOCKS, FEATHERED HAT and holding a set of PIPES, has his trusty DOG at his feet.Both FIGURES are generously decorated with shredded clay bocage.They are in good condition with no cracks or restoration.
