This Victorian Country horn beaker dates from around 1880 and originates from England. Fashioned from natural bovine horn, the vessel exhibits a tapered profile decorated with three raised horizontal turned mouldings around the body. The smooth polished surface displays a mottled colour palette of dark brown tones alongside variegated amber striations that catch the light near the rim. Measuring 11.4 cm high by 7.6 cm wide and 7.6 cm deep, this drinking cup makes a practical display piece for a sideboard top in a home interior inspired by a Highland hunting lodge aesthetic. It functions well as a display accessory holding small items or simply standing alone on a shelf, table, or mantelpiece.
