Mahogany cased sextant by Hughes & Son Ltd, London. Serial No. 27993. I have not accurately dated but believe it is 1930’s. Case contains eyepiece, lenses,etc. Last certificate of examination is dated 1978. Original key for box. A fine quality instrument.
