Large Pair of Marble Cassolette with Rams Heads1

Description

Beautiful pair of French white marble Cassolette with very good quality brass mounts and Rams heads, finished with acorn finials. Circa 1880.

Great proportioned pair and decorative with the floral garlands and laurel leaves.

Lovely pair of cassolette, impressive and would look super on a sofa table or console table perhaps. ( these are a lot larger than the typical mantle piece examples )

The marble is in great condition, no damage to report and a great colour, blending well with all decor styles and colours.

Measuring:

17 1/2'' or 44.5cm total height

8'' or 20cm diameter at the rams heads

5'' or 13cm diameter at the base

Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £55 +vat, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
