Good Set Slingsby Pitch Pine Library Steps

1900 - 1920
Description

Good set of Edwardian period pitch pine library steps of large size by SLINGSBY LADDERS of ENGLAND. Made around the first quarter of the 20th century by the countries leading manufacturer of ladders and steps. These are biggest size of library steps they made with five treads in total with long shaped handle grip. The steps are in as found condition, no damage but paint marked in places. Nice graining to the wood.

SIZES; 36" wide at the base by 14". 47 1/2" from the ground to the top tread. 78" high overall
