Fine Quality Indian Inlaid Rosewood Tray

Description

FINE quality late 19th century Indian solid rosewood tray with marquetry inlaid picture. Good size tray with gallery and lovely shape turned handles to each end. The inner part of the tray has a double boxwood line inlay and a very good crisply done inlaid marquetry type picture of a man on a horse amongst trees and foliage having an argument with a tiger !!!!

The inlays are of various woods including boxwood, holly, walnut, mahogany and bone. The inlay picture is of incredible detail and has been very well done.

No damage.
