As part of our Japanese Works of art collection we are delighted to offer this charming carved wooden Okimono of a dancing musician from the latter part of the Meiji period ( 1868 - 1913 ) c1900, the artist has captured with great humour this jovial character dancing on one foot , whilst beating on the drum hanging around his neck, this delightful Okimono is signed in a tablet to the underside and would make a great gift or a pleasing addition to your Japanese Art collection.
