Description

Rare and stunning 18th century Fijian Vunikau war club with mace like skull crushing head and grip with Lavatava geometric decoration. It has great primitive tribal carving and appearance. I have collected several of the smaller throwing clubs over the years but have never seen a full size club and at 44 inches it is an impressive piece. It has great colour/patina. Overall condition is good and consistent with age and use with minor wear and some age related cracks to the wood .
