Georgian Mahogany Butlers Tray and Stand

19th century
Description

Good late Georgian solid mahogany rectangular shape butlers tray with original solid mahogany folding stand. The tray has been made of very nicely grained mahogany as sometimes these can be very plain. The tray has a gallery with shaped handle cut outs to the sides. The original stand is solid mahogany and has been nicely turned.

Currently the stand has been webbed at the top to stand quite high. The webbing can be renewed slightly longer if you require it to stand lower.

There are a couple of minor cracks to the base of the tray otherwise OK. Both the tray and the stand retain their original colour and patination.

SIZE; The tray is 28" by 20". The overall current height is 35"
