George III Mahogany Set of Hanging Shelves

18th century
Description

Good George III solid mahogany set of hanging wall shelves. Three shelves with swan neck shaped top section with turned patera decoration. The ends are a particularly nice design with finely turned uprights and matching turned diagonal supports. Nice shape turned acorn type finials to the top and bottom of the uprights. There are two shaped holes for hanging in the back at the top.

The whole piece is a lovely colour and patination from years of waxing.

A couple of very minor old repairs otherwise good condition.
