As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this magnificent quality carved wood okimono , the group of nine rats are intertwined to form a pyramid shaped tower with the larger rats as the base and the smaller ones climbing to the top , they are using each others tails as ropes and balancing aids , with incredibly fine carved fur and facial features , together with the inlaid jet black eyes and ivory teeth, this group of rats are about as high a quality as you would wish to find, signed in a two character signature with seal by a very skilled carver called KEIMIN , a fabulous rare addition to your Japanese collection.
