Unusual Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Tortoiseshell Letter Rack 1896

Description

This is a superb and quite unusual antique Victorian sterling silver & tortoiseshell letter rack measuring 8 1/2" (22 cms) tall x 4 1/4" (11 cms) across.

Both silver sections are hallmarked for London 1896 with the silversmiths mark for Henry John Batson & Albert Edward Batson.

This item is absolutely beautiful with superb silver sections showing flowers and cherubs on a tortoiseshell back plate which has superb colour.

It has a backstand so it can stand freely and it also has a ring on the back so you can hang it if you wish.

Free worldwide fully insured shipping included in the price.
