Fine Early Norris London A5 Adjustable Smoothing Plane

1900 - 1920
Description

FINE clean little used early NORRIS, LONDON A5 patent adjusatble dovetailed steel smoothing plane. Coffin-shaped with fully enclosed rear handle. This plane is in very good TOTALLY ORIGINAL condition and has no dings, bashes or repairs of any kind. Gunmetal lever cap with all the original lacquer, 1922 patent adjuster and very good rosewood infill again with all the original lacquer.

A very nice example just waiting to be out back to work.

These early rosewood filled Norris planes are extremely hard to find now especially in this condition.
