As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine early 19th century Japanese wooden netsuke of a shojo or old lady , the long haired character is very well carved and simply stands holding a fan in her right hand , she has the added detail of ivory feet and himotoshi ring together with a nice old collection label (309) on her back ,very tactile, a great early wooden netsuke for your collection !
The condition is great with no repairs or restorations .
