Charming Japanese IVory Shibayama Okimono Boy With Cockateil

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nice quality Japanese ivory shibayama inlaid okimono, the unusual figure depicts a young boy stood proudly holding aloft a circular bird stand upon which rests his cockateil, the boy has fine geometric detailing to both his kimono and bird stand , around his waist hangs a tortoiseshell pouch with gold lacquer mon, he is nicely carved and has a nice signature seal to the underside.
 
The condition is lovely throughout !
