As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nice quality Japanese mixed metal onlaid bronze charger , the plates design is divided into four segments, the top section depicts a charming scene of a youngster enticing an egret to an offering amidst a tranquil garden backdrop with butterflies amongst prunus , this panel sits between a pair of opposing floral segments , the lower half of the charger depicts a finely onlaid gold sea dragon rising from the waves and confronted by two finely detailed onlaid metal characters , this segment is signed in a five character incised signature .
