Charming Japanese Boxwood Netsuke Rat by "Shigenao"

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this most charming Japanese boxwood netsuke study of a bailed rat , the coiled rodent holds his nose with one paw and appears to scratch his ear with the other , his tail coiled around his back for balance, he has inset jet black eyes and is nicely signed in a seal to the underside by"SHIGENASA", direct from our private clients collection.
