As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nice quality Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono depicting a father and son harvesting grapes , the figures stand on a nicely shaped and carved base inset with a red seal signature tablet to the underside , the boy looks up longingly awaiting his father trimming and passing down the next bunch for the basket , a charming subject worked in fine detail throughout .
 
The condition is lovely and ready for immediate display .
