A stunning Victorian wall bracket in carved wood and moulded plaster. Beneath the moulded-edge top is an egg-and-dart cornice with a pair of boldly-shaped scrolling supports and a central shell motif. The finish is extraordinary; gilding and paintwork that is totally original and untouched. The eyecatching bracket, ideal for displaying any work of art, is English, c.1875 – c.1900.
