Antique Afghan Baluch grain bag; these are known as ‘balisht’.

Circa 1900.

This example has an interesting diamond design to the face with a decorative closing panel at the top.

The back is a stripped plain weave design.

The bag is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.

The bag has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
