Japanese Imperial Satsuma Silver Lidded Koro

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nicely decorated Japanese imperial pallette satsuma koro , the koro is fitted with its original finely decorated solid silver lid , an unusual feature is that the lid sits into a silver lined rim , the interior retains part of its original paper label and the underside is gilt signed with a red seal and a further impressed factory mark.

A great little koro in fine original and unrestored condition with only minor wear and some rubbing to the gilt signature.
