Gorgeous Japanese Ivory Manju Netsuke Meiji Period

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this wonderful Japanese ivory manju netsuke , the first side of this superbly carved netsuke depicts a Minogawa amidst a pine forest with a crane in the canopy , the reverse side shows various items including Daikoku's hammer ,a tied sack and a scroll amongst other interesting items .

The colour of this netsuke is magical with a superb tactile patination and no damages,chips or restorations.

A great manju netsuke for your collection .
