Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this quite charming and substantial Japanese ivory okimono family group , the subject is clearly of father and children resting to picnic upon a huge fallen tree section,the detail is fabulous and very well carved, the colour is a nice mellow honey tone that only age can bring ,the tree section is one solid chunk of ivory , the father and son are carved from one piece as are the other children individually.

The condition is gorgeous , no damage or restorations just ready to enhance your collection !!
