Superb Japanese Ivory Shibayama Inlaid Fruit Signed Meiji Period 1868-1912

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to be able to offer to the market this fine quality and rare Meiji period shibayama inlaid fruit, acquired from a private collection and in superb original condition, i am not quite sure what this little exotic fruit is but it is inlaid with various insects in semi precious stones , they include fly's bugs and a great little red bodied spider , signed in red to the side.

The condition is superb and ready for immediate delivery to the discerning collector !!
