One Piece Japanese Ivory Geisha Okimono Signed

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this cracking quality one piece Japanese ivory okimono depicting two geisha sat before a cloaked figure arms outstretched .

One of the geisha is kneeling with a fan in her hands head turned towards the standing figure,the other geisha sits cross legged hands out , she is carrying a tanto or wakisashi in her belt, the overall detailing is fabulous,the rear has mellowed to a honey colour from years of display, the underside is finished as good as the top and has a lovely three character signature in a tablet, all carved from one piece of ivory.
