Description

George 1V Mahogany Sarcophagus Wine Cooler by Wilkinson. The hinged lid having flat top with moulded edge on splayed sides with half round moulded edge. The lead lined interior formerly with central divide having 2 drainage plugs one being the original brass plug the other replaced by a cork. Front edge stamped Wilkinso Ludgate Hill 5235. The lock stamped Turners with Crown above also W Hampton Patent with Crown above. The tapered body having panelled front,sides and cantered corners. The base having double moulded edges on claw feet with hidden castors. Scrolled carrying handles to sides.
