Stunning Gold Mounted Agate Desk Seal

Description

We are delighted to offer this quite superb quality large gold mounted agate desk seal , the chunky eight sided shaped agate handle is superbly carved with an intaglio seal mark of what looks to be a creature above a crown below what looks to be a union jack type flag surrounded by a banner inset in latin writing with -

"pro deo rege et patria "

The base surrounded by a reeded solid gold border.

The condition is simply stunning !!

Seal 3 x 2.5 cm
