Super Quality Mahogany Shaving Stand

Description

Here we have on offer a very unusual gentlemans shaving stand made from solid mahogany in the early Victorian period , this stand has a round mahogany framed swivel mirror supported by a pair of decorative arms leading down to a pair of original candle sconces above a black circular marble tray , the whole mirror section not only tilts but also swivels fully , the marble top rests upon a circular (incomplete) mahogany tray supported by a quite robust mahogany column resting on a superbly carved curved tripod base , the stand easily breaks down for carriage and storage.

The condition is great and ready for immediate home use ,this piece would make a great bathroom or bedroom accessory yet still remains totally functional as an adjustable antique shaving or make up stand !
